Random pics this week

Noah skateboarding at the skate park in Hickory.

Owen shredding it. That crazy kid rolled down a huge ramp about 5 feet high. I think they made their dad proud since he used to skate and still wants to. He is my big kid and he has enough "toys" for now.
Bugs bunny was in our yard.
Lots of rain got us in the mood for our rain boots. Owen rocked his when we went to J&S.

Mother's Day

Hanging with Maw-Maw Barbara's for Amy's graduation and Mother's Day
 Scott and Amy
Paw Paw James and his new John Deer
 Me and my sweet boys

 Mom feeding Ninny
Ninny and all the grand kids and great grand kids
Karoline, Noah, Owen and Aurora being the Avengers. They loved playing with all the kids at the family gathering on Mother's Day.
My most treasured gift ever. Owen and Noah made this for me at pre-school and Scott got me an ice cream maker. Yum. It was a wonderful Mother's Day this year. I am just lucky and proud to have such great kids and husband that I love and I know that love me. Being a mom especially of twins that are 5 is one tough job but I wouldn't trade it for the world. Owen and Noah drive me nuts some days but they bring so much joy and laughter to my life and it completes me. I am always thankful for my mom for all she has done and given me, my Ninny who used to cook for me every day when I got home form elementary school and my mother-in-law who is wonderful and gave me the man of my dreams. Happy Mother's Day!

Mayfest in Newton

This is a super cool VW bug. Would be great for our family.
Noah is drinking the blue coconut and Owen wiped his pina coloda clean. They were both awesome.
Couldn't resist this snap shot on our way to the car. Vroom Vroom

A few weeks ago I took the boys to The three of us had a really good time. They listened and got along well unlike some days we have had lately. We jumped in a bouncy house, got some freebies, and held a guinea pig.

Chicken House

Ready set pull and down it went

Flattened

Noah and Buzzy
Owen
Last Saturday we helped tear down my Ninny's chicken house. The tractor was a life saver. The boys helped especially Owen. There was tons of trash, antiques and a opossum. Maybe we can put in a mini BMX track now.

BMX Races

Noah

                                                                 Owen

The first 3 pics are of our 2nd race or the first real race. Noah got 2nd and Owen got 3rd. Out of 3 motos Noah beat Owen 2 times. But revenge was rearing its head the next week.

Well last weekend Owen got revenge. He smoked Noah in all 3 motos to come in 1st place and Noah got 2nd. In the past 2 races they have only raced against 2 other kid but hey we will take it. It was a very big surprise for us for Owen to beat Noah. I think Owen is more into racing and Noah is into jumping and tricks. Owen was so proud of himself as were we. He picked out the patriotic trophy. Their hero there is Wesley who is fast as lightning and is ranked #1 or 2 nationwide. It is always a great time going to Tanglewood. Everyone is friendly and there are at least 2 other sets of twins. How cool... All that matters is they have fun and I think we got it covered.

Crazy week at school

                                                Hat day
Owen and his attire for crazy dress day. He could win this category every day. Poor kid can't dress or match at all. We are working on it.
 Noah on crazy dress day

Pajama day. This would be the hardest one. We do not sleep in jammies. They just sleep in their undies 365 days a year. We did get them to wear some pj's a few times this winter.

Hot Rod Show in Charlotte

 Chilling in the grand stands
 My favorite one.

A few weeks ago we went to our yearly trip to the hot tod show. We had fun as always. We saw some super cool rides and the weather was great. We took our camel backs and got a lemonade.
