It's me and Noah hanging out with the reindeer at MattieBelle's. We went there the night before Christmas Eve and had fun. We confined ourselves to the basement where we could be less destructive.

Wreckage

Here is Owen on his Kawasaki 4 wheeler he got. Boy he sure knew what to do when he got on it. Is that a sign??? I know Daddy would love to get another "Green Machine". They wrecked every body's house that they went to: both grandparents, MattieBelle's and Ninny's. They are little cyclones. I think they liked the paper and bags as much as the gifts. We could have saved a lot of money? Ha!! Ha!! Now we have to figure out what to put where. Its a mess regardless.

Hijacking tractors

At Scott's parents Owen and Noah decided to hijack Christopher's tractor. I guess they were like there are 2 of us and one of you. We can take him. HA!! HA!! Christopher was nice and shared. Thank goodness for that.

Christmas 2007

This is Christmas 2007 at the Cannon House. the best gift we got was good health!! We all woke up with no sicknesses this year. Thank goodness for that wonderful blessing. We had a blast all Christmas. The boys got so much stuff from family and friends. We appreciate everything and everyone. It is just not a good Christmas without loved ones to share it with. Here are the boys on their rock, roll, and ride tricycles. They are a work in progress.

The boys hangin out in their Carolina hats. Scott and the boys all got the same hat. It is to help cheer on the Tarheels.
Owen is riding the zebra. Needless to say the living room was trashed. Owen liked to open presents more than Noah. Scott and I are truly blessed each and every day. The boys always put a smile on our face and make us chuckle everyday. Children are the best gift anyone can ever have. We love you Owen and Noah!!!

This was this past weekend. They love to climb and get into everything. The pampers box has many uses: toy box, diaper box, car, or a stool. Nothing like a cheap box for loads of entertainment!! They are looking out the window. It seems just like yesterday they couldn't hardly reach the ledge. They are growing like weeds.

Check us out. We are going pro hopefully in a few years. HA!! HA!! We have our soccer shirts on and are holding footballs. This was last week when it was so nice out.

A warm Day in December

We've had a crazy week. The boys have been super picky eaters. It has been a constant struggle at the Cannon Casa. Some days they eat OK and some days nothing seems to be the ticket. They are struggling with our staple of cereal and oatmeal in the mornings and evenings. They also like to "swat" at the food and it goes everywhere. We are trying hard to get them to eat table food. We are making a little progress. Their favorite seems to be french fries. So nutritious. Then last night Owen pulled the Christmas tree down as Scott was leaving for work. Hopefully it scared them enough to leave it alone. We will see. So today it was warm and we got to play outside 2 times. We went strolling and then played ball before Daddy went to work. All things considered we have had a blast. All you can do is laugh it off!!!

Picasso's

As you can tell we love the crayons that we got from Ivy's b-day Party. We have mustaches and everything. Owen can doodle on the walls. Noah just eats the crayons. Life is one big party with these 2 wild things!!!

Fall Leaves

Here we are playing in the leaves. Fall is our favorite time of the year. All we need now is some rain.

Sweetie Pies

Here we are chillin in mommy and Daddy's bed at 7am. Scott and I love when we are both off and the boys can come and hang out and drink their bottle in our bed. We watch cartoons. They love the Wiggles. Then we get up and play!! We had a wonderful Thanksgiving this year. We have been doubled-blessed again this year. We are thankful for every day we have with them. We never knew how much love and joy they would bring us. Last year is a complete blurr. The boys ate turkey and ham a couple of times. We are trying hard to get them to eat "people food".

Bath Time

Here we are looking our finest. We are playing in the bath tub. I think that is their favorite time of the day/evening. We splash and aggravate each other while we are bathing.

Our babies are growing up so fast.

Wagon

Today before Scott went to work we played outside in the beautiful weather. It was in the 70's so we partied in our t-shirts and shorts. In the first pic Owen is pushing Noah and then there is Noah and then Owen. They are such a joy in our life.

Fall

Just playing in the leaves and digging. We love the fall weather.

A Big Mess

Look at the mess. We have torn the closet up. All we do is attempt to clean up the mess and then they make a new one. They crack u sup everyday.

Pilots

Here we are chillin on our school bus and airplane. We have had a cold this week w/ runny noses and coughing. Hopefully we are on the mend.

Camo dudes

We are hangin out in the laundry basket in our cool new camo pj's. We rode around in the basket while daddy was sleeping today. We had a great week. Daddy was off an extra day. Yee-ha!! It has gotten cold and the time has changed and now we will have to go strolling earlier in the day instead of the evening. Plus that means always wearing socks and shoes. Which they hate.

Here is a snapshot of our friends: Ben and Ivy. We are lucky to have met them in water aerobics.

Trick or Treat

We had a great Halloween!!! As you can see we were little devils which can sometimes be appropriate. HA!! HA!! We got to go trick or treating with Ben and Ivy. We had a ball. It was much better than last Halloween b/c that was when we came home from the hospital. My what a difference a year can make. We got a lot of candy but it was for mommy and daddy.

School Bus

Owen is pushing Noah on the bus. They can push each other which is cool. They are a hoot. We had a good week last week. Noah went to the allergist and we had part of the 12 month shots and they did very well. It is so hard to believe a whole year has gone by.

Here is crazy Noah trying to get into the tub. He doesn't like to wait. They love to take baths together. It gets better every single day. I think Noah would take 10 baths a day if we let him.

My oh my we were a mess!!! It was all worth it!!! We brought extra shirts. They tore the cakes up into a millions pieces. I think they ate a few bites. The rest was on them and everywhere else.

Cake Time

This is stage one of eating the cake. They weren't sure of what to do but they figured it out.

Little Stinkers

Here are Owen and Noah's friends: Ivy and Ben. We all met at prenatal water aerobics. We always have a blast with them. They all enjoyed the sand. We are still finding sand in their shoes.

Noah is looking a little cranky in this picture. Owen is looking for a fire to put out. They must have know we were beside the fire department. They pushed the truck all over the park.

HAPPY 1ST BIRTHDAY

We had a wonderful birthday party on Sunday, October 14th at the park in Rutherford College with lots of family and friends. We appreciate everyone coming to party with us and for the gifts. It's a blessing to have such wonderful family and friends. We love all of you. The boys were wiped out afterwards. They were so dirty they left a dirt ring around the tub.

Lazy River

They chilled with daddy in the lazy river. It put them in and out of sleep. Needless to say, they took a nap afterwards. We need one of these at home. Ha!! Ha!! They even got a little bit of a tan while we were there. Just in time for winter.

Tonka Truck

Owen and Noah loved Christopher's tonka truck. They played with it all the time. Noah has a crazy look in this picture.

Monster turck

We are chillin in the cool truck. They loved it. It just barely moved and they would have rode it forever if we had let them. This was at the Tanger Outlets. They got a small break from shopping.

MYRTLE BEACH

Well we made it to the beach at 11 1/2 months. The boys had a blast. They loved the ocean and pool. They did awesome the entire time. We only had one minor problem. We went shopping and had 2 diaper mishaps. They peed all the way thru the diaper, their shorts, and the stroller. For one we forgot to put in more diapers in the bag (we had one) and there was also no good place to change them. They slept almost the whole way down and back. We are so proud of them.

While we were there we went to the ocean, the kiddie pool, and the lazy river. We ate a little sand and drank a little ocean water but that was expected. We ate out a lot, shopped, and hung out with the Cannon family. We ate some delicious fish at Calabash. The boys ate some hush puppies. Yummy!! We also ate at TGI Fridays and Hamburger Joe's. Hamburger Joe's is one of our favs.

Gettin to the top

Check us out. Noah is on the left and he climbed all the way to the top. Owen got half way up. It is obvious that we will need to buy a playground/swing set very soon. I think we are raising athletes. Ha!! Ha!!!

We have found a new ride. They loved the duck and so did mommy and daddy. We had a wonderful time at Southside Park in Newton. We all 4 broke a sweat. We had tons of fun!!!

We love to swing. It is so cool we can make good use out of this double-sided swing.
