We had a good time hunting eggs at my parents house. We first had to play in water like 2 water bugs. We got lots of eggs with treats in them. We are good on chocolate if me and Scott can keep out of it. We ate some good food and threw water balls at each other. Of course we had to have some rowdiness and fighting but that is normal for us. No blood shed, no hospitalization... we are good.

Happy Easter

Noah and the silly string

Owen and silly string with sunscreen making it a big mess.

Owen who made a big mess with Easter grass. Noah helped too.

We had a goof Easter. The bunny did make it even though we had some question he may not. He even left bunny prints and ate his carrots we left. Plate and all. Owen woke up at 6am and I told him it was to early. We had to wait on Scott to come home from work to put out the treats. They got chocolates and a baseball glove and ball. They both can whack the ball. Especially Owen. We hope to take them to a park this week and play. They told us they were no Crawdad players. HA!HA! I always like baseball players in college. Funny how that come back into play and Scott played too.

Easter Eggs

On Thursday we covered the table and took off almost all of our clothes and dyed eggs. We did 2 days of it. One with a kit and one with just food coloring. We had fun!! Love family traditions.

Last Friday we headed to Charlotte for our annual trip to the hot rod show. We had a great time as always. We got tired of course and Noah had to be carried. Owen got a little scared once we got there b/c he was afraid they would start the engines and it would be loud or they would be racing on the drag strip. Thankfully he got over that craziness!!Scott did most of that on his shoulders. There were many cars we would have loved to take home. We got to enjoy to big lemonades and a pretzel and ate a late lunch at Scott's fav- Quaker Steak and Lube. Good food Good times!!

Muddy Butts

Noah
Owen

The other day after the car show we came home and played in the mud. We first just had some water in the bucket and then piece by piece their clothes came off and they had the idea of making a mud bath. They slid down the slide to a bare spot and made it a big mud puddle and just had the best time ever. Mud was everywhere. Needless to say when we were done we went and took a bath. Nothing like good cheap fun.
