Knocked out

On Sunday it was an act of congress to get them to take a nap. They weren't crying they were partying in their cribs. They threw out all the toys and were talking to each other and jumping up and down. They even showed us they can put one foot on the top as if they are trying to escape. So I was like forget it and asked if they wanted to come in our bedroom. Of course they did and we watched some cartoons and we all passed out. We also learned they are nearing the end of the crib days. So we are going to start looking for some twin beds. Kinda makes us sad to see them growing up so fast. No more little babies. We can only treasure each moment we have and hope and pray for so many more. What joy they bring to us.

After Mayfest we went to the park in Newton and had fun with the Watson's. We ate some Popsicle's and enjoyed the warm day before a lot of rain came. Then we went to eat at Quiznos with Auntie Amy and were wild in there. So we had a cram packed weekend and loved it. It went by too fast. We enjoy each moment we have with them. They are just growing up too fast. I just can't imagine our life without them. The new word of the week is fart. Not the best word but it makes us laugh. They can repeat everything we say. We will have to be careful of what we say.

This weekend we went to Mayfest. The main items were the hot rods. We got to see a petting zoo, cool dogs, lots of food and lemonade, and Noah went down the slide as you can see. Owen had no interest. We are glad they like the hot rods. Next stop is Charlotte in the fall for the classic car show. Needless to say it was good family fun.

Last week we got to eat and play outside a lot. They love anything to do outside. We hear outside at least 100 times a day. Scott went out and took his shirt off to get a little sunshine and Noah and Owen had to do the same. But they kept losing articles of clothing as time went on unlike Scott. Before we went in for the night they were buck naked out in the backyard having a good time.

All they want to do is ride their "dirt bikes". Everything is a dirt bike. That has 2-3 wheels. They love to wear helmets which is great.

Last weekend we went to my mom and dads and played outside before we all got our hair done.
It was so nice out. They just ran and played as hard as they could.

Trail Walk

Last weekend we went on our first trail walk in Newton. We had so much fun. It really is a cool trail especially to be so close to home. The weather was perfect and the boys loved exploring. Noah touched a briar and got a little boo boo.

We tried on our big boy underoos the other day. We are slowly introducing them. Today we had an accident. I thought I would just let them hang out in them and go outside. Well Owen peed in the driveway so I told them we need to go in. Well we did and I pulled his pants and underoos down and there was another prize (poop) and it hit then floor. Then Noah peed in the floor. Only at the Cannon house by myself. But it made me laugh!!
